3. Legal Basis and Purpose

We process your data on the basis of: (a) pre-contractual measures and performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — to process your order request and communicate about your order; (b) legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — to respond to enquiries and improve our services; (c) legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — for tax and accounting purposes where required by Polish law.

4. Data Retention

Order and contact data is retained for 5 years from the date of transaction in accordance with Polish tax law (Ustawa o rachunkowości). Data from unanswered enquiries is deleted within 12 months.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; erasure ("right to be forgotten") where legally permissible; restriction of processing; data portability; object to processing; lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

6. Recipients of Data

We may share your data with: courier and postal service providers (for order fulfilment); payment processors (when payment is arranged); hosting and IT service providers (under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements). We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. International Transfers

If any service provider is located outside the EEA, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

This website uses only essential technical functionality. No tracking cookies, analytics, or third-party advertising scripts are used on this page.

2. Products

VaultKey is a physical hardware cryptocurrency wallet device. It is a tool for securely storing cryptographic keys offline. The Seller is not an exchange, broker, or asset manager and does not provide investment, financial, or trading advice.

3. Order Process — Non-Binding Request

Submitting an order request via this website does not constitute a binding purchase order or contract. The order request is an invitation to the Seller to make an offer. A binding contract of sale is formed only when the Seller confirms the order in writing (by email). No payment is taken at the time of submitting an order request.

4. Prices

All prices are stated in Euros (€) and include Polish VAT (23%) where applicable. Prices are subject to change prior to written confirmation of an order.

5. Payment

Payment terms, accepted payment methods, and currency will be communicated by the Seller in the order confirmation email. The Seller reserves the right to refuse any order at its sole discretion prior to written confirmation.

6. Delivery

Estimated delivery times will be communicated at order confirmation. Delivery within the EU is standard. Customs duties may apply to deliveries outside the EU and are the responsibility of the buyer.

7. Security Notice

Every device ships factory-fresh and completely blank. The seed phrase is generated by the customer on the device during first setup. The Seller never has access to, stores, or can recover the customer's seed phrase or private keys. The customer is solely responsible for the safekeeping of their recovery phrase.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Seller's liability is limited to the purchase price of the device. The Seller is not liable for loss of cryptocurrency assets, loss of seed phrases, or damages arising from misuse of the device. Cryptocurrency carries inherent risk; the customer accepts full responsibility for their asset management decisions.

9. Online Dispute Resolution (EU ODR)

EU consumers may access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Polish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights under EU law.

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Rights Directive)

If you are a consumer within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a confirmed purchase contract within 14 calendar days from the date you received your device, without giving any reason.

2. How to Exercise Your Right

To exercise the right of withdrawal, notify us by email at [EMAIL] with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw. You may use the model withdrawal form provided in Directive 2011/83/EU, but this is not mandatory. Your withdrawal period will be met if you send your notice before the 14-day period has expired.

3. Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, the device must be:

• Returned in its original, undamaged packaging
• In the same condition as received — unused and not activated (i.e. no seed phrase has been generated on the device)
• Complete with all original contents (device, cable, documentation)

Once a seed phrase has been generated on the device (i.e. the device has been activated and set up), the device is considered used. For hygiene and security reasons, activated devices cannot be returned unless they are defective.

4. Return Shipping

The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer unless the device is defective or incorrectly supplied. We recommend using tracked shipping; we are not responsible for items lost in return transit.

5. Refund

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned device, we will process your refund within 14 days using the same payment method used for the original purchase. We may withhold the refund until we have received the device back.

6. Defective Devices

If your device is defective upon arrival, contact us at [EMAIL] within 14 days of receipt. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

7. Warranty

VaultKey Basic includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty. VaultKey Pro includes a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not cover physical damage caused by the customer or loss of seed phrases.

These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights under EU or Polish law.
